History and Evolution

                Global Tracking Solutions, Ltd. is a high technology company dedicated to providing integrated software products and services primarily to the safety and security marketplace.  GTS originally began as a Location Based Services (LBS) company dealing with GPS related products and tracking services. However, it became evident that in order to provide other safety and security related services, other types of technology would need to be integrated and utilized as well. GTS recognized that when dealing with multiple technologies and numerous manufacturers, each device would require proprietary and custom integration in order to function within a cohesive environment.  Furthermore, GTS noted that clients of these diverse manufacturing companies have been long held captive as a result of their proprietary offerings and the consequential high cost of changing hardware make/model and/or the necessity to "purchase" separate software programs for each type of technology application required for their purposes.  Due to the increased necessity to use various technology devices for multiple application needs, the problem had been amplified.

                GTS provided an alternative software product which allowed integration of diverse technologies and data communications by handling the data in a non-proprietary data agnostic manner, regardless of the device technology employed. GTS has since matured into a company that transcends LBS and has expanded into the development of its own "middleware". The GTS middleware software enables a vast array of technological devices and data communication systems to benefit from interoperative secure communications by incorporating both open system architecture and a unique neural network methodology. This unique system learns data "patterns" and correlates the data within its database in order to quickly validate and identify exactly who or what device or system it is communicating with. Once identified, even proprietary data formats and command syntax can be formulated in response to the inbound message. Through use of this unique middleware, GTS can provide unlimited "message brokering" services and functionality within a seamless and cohesive environment.

GTS Today:

Today's underlying GTS products provide instant communication and seamless integration of diverse technologies including RF, cellular, satellite, GPS, Video/Audio, RFID, GIS (Geographical Information System), and Biometrics, into a single cohesive application "framework" in a highly scalable and distributable format.

Specifically, GTS has developed a software solution that remedies issues that have plagued safety and security emergency decision support services in both public and private organization environments. The fundamental GTS product which utilizes the GTS "Neural Network Data Normalization" recognition engine is a technical system framework capable of supporting multiple industry "urgent" communication operational requirements. These include emergency communications and decision support for government/DHS related environments, corporate security, and elements of the healthcare industry. The architecture was designed to allow integration and utilization of multiple technologies simultaneously: view, control, and communicate with devices over the internet, and provide command post, dispatch, and monitoring station facilities with extraordinary capabilities for immediate status updates. The GTS "REACT" software reduces the need for additional new hardware while increasing capability. The system optimizes legacy equipment and provides absolute interoperability throughout any incident. All GTS industry related applications supply highly secure and encrypted data environments which provide status displays to appropriate levels of authority who are required to make time-sensitive critical decisions and optionally communicate these decisions to other affected agencies/organizations.

GTS REACT- 911

GTS has partnered with two other nationally recognized software companies, who together with GTS can provide a much desired and well documented "turnkey" product offering. The GTS "REACT" framework is a required "core" element of the joint project effort and provides a methodology to immediately alert appropriate authorities and/or the affected citizenry of impending or recently occurring emergencies. The REACT-911 system instantly disseminates alert status messages over every known multi-media communication facility available (radio, television, RF, internet, cellular phone/device, satellite, etc.) and doing so at the appropriate level of distribution (i.e. individual, team, local, county, state, region, nation-wide). The system also provides notification to the levels of authority necessary to initiate and implement a response to any incident. This total solution can also communicate emergency information across agency and interagency environments including direct and seamless "two or more" way "instant" communication and monitoring capability to and between 1^st and 2^nd responders (regardless of the devices and frequencies employed), their command centers, and the ultimate decision makers. Further, the "REACT-911" system provides for complete incident "audit" and "cross analysis" facilities which facilitate immediate classification and report communication to all necessary and affiliated organization audiences.

            GTS-SECURE

Given the near catastrophic events of the last few years, Federal, State, and local government application of the GTS "REACT" software capabilities are obvious.  However, the variety of applications for the GTS software within the general sphere of safety and security for the private sector is more than substantial and significant.  As it has been repeatedly proven over the last number of years, it is not possible for government to react efficiently and effectively to every safety and security event that occurs. 

As stated in the 9/11 Commission report, 85% of the country's critical infrastructure is controlled by the private sector, and initial response to emergencies and/or terrorist activities will be by civilians.  Within the report it is also stated: ".Private-sector preparedness is not a luxury; it is the cost of doing business in the post-9/11 world.  It is ignored at a tremendous potential cost in lives, money, and national security."

Even apart from catastrophic events, the corporate world is faced with a daunting security responsibility to protect its employees and corporate reputation and limit losses to its stockholders.  Although advances in safety and security technology have increased the potential for efficient and economical solutions, managing and operating the new technologies as intended and to their optimum capabilities has become complex, labor and equipment intensive, and uncoordinated.  GTS has the solution, GTS REACT-SECURE.

GTS REACT-MED

Although the capability of REACT-MED for the purposes of alerting and initiating the immediate response of a medical facility and its staff to a major crisis is obvious, there are many other potential healthcare related applications for the "REACT" system beyond responding to major unforeseen emergency incidents. For example, the "REACT" software is ideally suited for the immediate notification to a specific surgeon and staff regarding the availability of an organ for transplant regardless of where in the country-or the world-it is located.  Although the system of organ availability is currently computerized, precious minutes and hours are lost coordinating the availability with the appropriate surgeon, the recipient patient, transplant center, hospital and staff. Other examples include more efficient notification of surgeons, radiologists, and staff to more routine, daily incidents (such as auto accidents, shootings, drug overdoses, ingestion of toxic materials, etc.)  Doctors and patients also benefit by allowing physicians to immediately communicate with specialists, any time, anywhere in the world, voice to text, text to voice, with video, and with attendant access to radiological digital images, X-Ray, MRI, CT, etc.
